Writing Portfolio
Discover Published Works
I submitted the below tongue-in-cheek poem to the Seattle Times, and they published it. I’m not too crazy about the line format or some of the grammar. However, I wanted to share it because it’s a slice of Seattle history. (I’ve since gotten over it.)

Published Works
My published works include poems, plays, essays, short stories, and news articles. Each work reflects my love for the written word and what inspires it.
I took the below photos, each of which spoke to me on some creative level. (I also added the cover of my second published manuscript.)

Creative Approach & Philosophy
My writing attempts to blend personal reflections with occasional, gentle cultural commentary. It’s my goal to capture the quirks and complexities of everyday life.
I’ve written about work, play, travel, family, love, grief, and the unexpected. I enjoy bringing fresh perspectives to familiar themes. I also like to write across genres.

Culture meets creativity.
Pop Culture
I occasionally dive into pop culture like zombie lore, horror, and the paranormal.

Stories that stay with you.
Storytelling
Every piece aims to spark imagination and connect with readers on a personal level.
