Hello, friends and fellow readers ~ I am a published author, poet and playwright. I spent my working years as a technical writer for various organizations including food services, employee benefits and mental health. I retired from gainful employment in 2022. Along with some other absorbing, fun and nutty pursuits, I turned my energy toward writing the Great American Novel in early 2023. I recently completed my memoir, which was inspired by (but has little to do with) my adult children’s interest in zombie shows, the paranormal, and entertainment focused on horror.
Recent activities and current memberships include Pacific Northwest Writers’ Association (2025 scholarship recipient and member since 2023); NaNoWriMo Writing Challenge (successful completion of challenges in 2023 and 2024); GetABookDeal101 (member since 2023); and current semi-finalist for a poetry competition. I also participate in the Women in Publishing writers’ group. My writing goal is to make a difference in people’s lives by creating material that inspires, amuses or reaches others through shared common bonds.
